Leader Training:

NLE/Leader Specific

If you are a brand-new leader, you need both sessions. If you have changed positions and have already had New-Leader Essentials (a one-time training session), you just need Leader Specific training.  The pack will pay the $5 for refreshments and materials if you let me know you are coming so we can coordinate a check, or you can pay it and get reimbursed from Christine Wolfe later. Once you have completed your training, please make sure you let us know what you have taken so we can update the trained-leaders list.

BALOO TRAINING - Camp Shenandoah - Camp Shenandoah SEE COUNCIL WEBSITE FOR MORE INFO.

Response to any parents that is wanting to drop their child off at ANY Pack 2 activity.

I am sorry But cub scouts CANNOT  be dropped off at any PACK 2 event or activity, NOT EVEN FOR A FEW MINUTES.  A parent Must stay with the child whether it be a Pack meeting or an outing of any kind. Pack 2 Leaders and I have way to much responsibility to also be responsible for others. I hope you understand.  This is a rule we have ALWAYS stuck to in Pack 2.  This is for the safety of the child and all parties involved.
We had this happen a few times last year without anyone knowing a child was being dropped off.
**This rule should also apply  to DEN OUTINGS

Suggestions
There is a 'suggestion box' on the desk in the cub scout room. Please feel free to give me any comments or suggestions that you may have about anything to do with scouting. Also if you think of any activity you think the pack would like doing this year or next, please let me know and we will try to add that to our activities.

If you take pictures at Pack meetings of your son getting an award, these would be great pictures for the the web site too.
