VMI Winter Day Outing

Mark you calendar for the one of the
most requested events in the Southern District.
VMI offers their campus to the
Scouts of the Southern District
for educating our units in the history of VMI
and to be part of their basketball game against
Liberty University.
All Packs and Troops are requested to bring their US flag and unit flag which will be part of the pre-game activities.
The cost of this event will be announced at the October Roundtable and will include lunch, game admission and patch.
Scouts/Scouters must be in uniform for entrance to the game. You will not be given a ticket to enter Cameron Hall; your
uniform is the ticket.
Our 1999 and 2003 outing had many parents/siblings attend. This is wonderful and we hope to have the same attendance but
unless you are a registered Scout/Scouter in uniform your fee will be higher.
This will be our third event at VMI (1999, 2003 and 2007). Look forward to seeing all of the units there. In
2003 we had an attendance of 343.
ALL SCOUTS MUST BE IN PROPER UNIFORM
